LCFFRC 2025 is accepting applications starting August 1st!
Lanark County Female First Responders Camp is a two-day immersive experience designed to empower young women with real-life emergency skills, mentorship, and career exploration. Held annually, this program welcomes all self-identifying females aged 15 to 20 residing in Lanark County.
The Camp will run Friday October 17th, 6 - 9pm and Saturday October 18th, 9am - 5pm at the Perth Fire Services 1881 Rogers Road, Perth, Ontario.
This dynamic program features hands-on training sessions led by experts from local emergency services—including Lanark County Fire Departments, Lanark County Paramedic Service, Smiths Falls Police Services, Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Participants learn to use personal protective equipment, perform basic first aid and CPR, manage emergency scenes, and practice critical techniques like auto extraction and search and rescue operations. In addition to skill development, the camp offers a unique opportunity to explore rewarding careers in emergency services, fostering collaboration between enthusiastic participants and dedicated professionals.
