Bookbinding: Intro to Coptic Stitch Binding

Create a one-of-a-kind 8.5" × 5.5" junk journal or sketchbook using coptic stitch bookbinding. 

Participants will learn bookbinding basics, customize their book using a selection of decorative papers and embellishments, and create a unique bookcover using upcycled board and non-toxic adhesive. 

Participants are welcome to bring any special papers from home to include in their book.

This workshop is for adults only as we will be using sharp tools. Comfort with performing fine motor skills (working with a needle and thread) required.
