Event Details:

In this workshop, participants will learn some fundamentals of watercolour painting. We will work through the steps to create a painting, discussing composition, light and shadow, positive and negative spaces, how to create soft edges vs hard edges, and colour mixing. 

We will also cover topics such as

- paper selection

- use of pencil and pen in watercolour illustration

- brush types and uses

All materials will be provided for use in class and included in the $40 workshop fee.

Participants will take home their own 5" x 7" (approximate size) original painting.

Although this course is geared towards adult participants, it is open to ages 12 and up.
