The museum is inviting artists of all levels and mediums to the museum on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 for an en plein air competition on the museum's grounds.

 

For the 2023 competition, the museum has expanded to having two prize categories. One winner (Intermediate Category, 18+) will receive a $1000 cash prize sponsored by TD Bank and the title of 2023 Rideau Artist of the Year. A second winner (Youth Category, under 18 years of age) will receive a $200 cash prize sponsored by TD Bank and a $50 gift certificate, sponsored by The Craft Witch.
